He joined María's dream and is the numbers side of Embora, making sure every journey is as solid on paper as it is on the ground.

Before Embora, María worked as a strategic communicator on ecological tourism projects in Colombia.

Colombia is her country and a part of who she is, and she wants the world to know it.

OUR STORY

Hi, I'm María and this is José Daniel. We're the founders of Embora Travel.

In 2019 we decided to travel through Colombia, our country, and we wanted others to have the same chance.

In 2025, we formally established Embora Travel as a family-owned company, turning that idea into private journeys for travelers who want authenticity and comfort.

I come from communications and José Daniel is the numbers side of Embora. Every journey we design, we visit and vet ourselves, and you'll talk to us directly.
